Indications
Simultaneous deficiency of Qi and Yin: shortness of breath, weakness, profuse sweating dry mouth, weak pulse exhaustion from the summer heat
Contraindications
The external syndrome is in full swing
Notes
Three herbs “restore the pulse”: they replenish qi and yin when both are depleted, especially when accompanied by sweating and weakness following heat exhaustion or illness. Preparation: Boil, strain, and drink while warm.
